Camarosa

Camarosa is a common bright, full color variety with strong skin and excellent sheen. Camarosa rarely shows bruising and is a firm slightly crunchy berry with a consistently sweet, agreeable, strawberry flavor. Size is predominately large early to mid season, decreasing late season. Average count per dry pint: 10 – 14 midseason, 18 – 24 later season.

Ventana

Ventana is a common bright, full color variety with strong skin and excellent sheen. Camarosa rarely shows bruising and is a firm slightly crunchy berry with a consistently sweet, agreeable, strawberry flavor. Size is predominately large early to mid season, decreasing late season. Average count per dry pint: 10 – 14 midseason, 18 – 24 later season.

Seascape

The Seascape variety is a deep, crimson berry with a tender skin that slices red on the inside. Occasionaly seascape is subject to bruising. An interesting and unique aspect of Seascape is that unlike the other varieties it requires picking every other day and therefore is expensive to produce. Shape is mostly conical. Sizing varies throughout the pack medium to large, running smaller late season. Average count: 14 – 18. Seascape has a slight acid sharpness to its taste balanced by good sugar. Its flavor is easy on the palette, berry after berry after berry after berry after berry after berry, really!

Aromas

The Aromas variety is a deep, crimson berry with a rain resistant skin however at times is subject to bruising. Shape is mostly conical. Sizing varies throughout the pack medium to large. Average count: 12-16. Aromas taste is sweet and with aromatic quality. Its flavor is easy on the palette.

Diamante

Diamante has a some taste and a uniform conical shape, maintaining good size well into late season. Color is lite orange to red, and it tends toward mid-season 'bronzing'. It’s a large berry that holds its size throughout the season. Average count per dry pint: 14-18.
